Following the official government notification which stipulates that people should avoid public buildings, we regret to announce that MADS Theatre will close to help slow the spread of coronavirus and to protect our patrons and volunteers. All public performances and social events are postponed, but we hope to be able to present the two remaining productions from our 2019-2020 season in the future. This is an unprecedented event for everyone and we thank you for your continued support and loyalty.

Hiring at MADS
MADS is a wholly volunteer-run organisation, so we don't hire people into our society. But we do hire out our wonderful venue, as well as costumes from our extensive wardrobe, and properties from our props collection. If you want to know more about Hiring at MADS then see below.
MADS Venue Hire
At MADS Theatre, our auditorium (which seats 193), as well as our bar lounge and studio are all available for hire. So if you have a full production for our stage, a smaller production for our studio, or if you want a place to hold a meeting (we have full bar facilities plus kitchen), then please get in touch by emailing us at lettings@madstheatre.org or by using the button below.
Many of MADS' properties, or "props", and furniture are available to hire.
